Small business owners today create the vast majority of new job opportunities across the United States, and through the combined sale of their goods and services, account for over 50% of theGross Domestic Product of the United States as well.

In recognition of the existing and increasingly significant role area small companies play towardsthe continuing economic growth and vitality of our local area, it is Cascade Capital Corporation'sdistinct privilege to present its own Business Growth Awards Program. This Program honors small businesses located in Summit, Medina, Portage, Wayne, Ashland and Holmes counties thathave prominently increased sales and/or employment over the past five years.

The criteria to win a Business Growth Award is:

• A company's sales must have increased by 100% or $5 million
• A company's full-time employee total must have increased by 50% or 25 employees
