In response to growing customer requirements for flexibility and cost-effective configurations, the ICI Wireless Metropolitan Base Station (WMBS) can be configured to meet virtually any customer requirement. With years of experience in Mobile Router and Wireless Network Integration, we focused on configuration flexibility to quickly allow the customer to change system modules, rather than requiring customers to choose from a limited set of fixed options.
In addition to empowering customers with greater flexibility for their initial system configurations, the ICI Modular Backplane™ also enhances the ability to evolve system designs with changing application requirements and available wireless standards.
For example, customers can create an initial product using the 2.4GHz ISM Band and then evolve to the 4.9GHz Public Safety Band by simply substituting a different module in the system. 5.8 GHz modules will soon be available.
