Wireless Services & Design

Hate surprises? So do we! That’s why we confirm what our instincts tell us. Experience and calculations are very important, but ICI takes it one step further. Our Engineers still walk every one of our surveys and certifications. You may have heard or read that because of advancements in wireless controller technology, this process is no longer necessary. Ask our clients, and they might disagree. ICI’s success and profitability to date has been based on getting it right the first time. We’re always happy to provide technical support to our customers, but we would rather use our experience early in the design to make sure that you don’t have problems.

We start the process by gathering information about your environment and your wireless needs — data, voice, video? Your salesperson will ask you to fill out ICI’s Pre-Survey Questionnaire (PSQ) so our RF Engineers can prepare for the survey and design phase. Our sales team and field engineers work with your Single Point of Contact (SPOC) so we have a consistent communication channel throughout the process.

ICI takes the time to provide you with a complete solution. After the survey and design are completed, you receive a detailed design document which gives important technical details, includes propagation diagrams, and provides a complete bill of materials.

For ease of deployment, we will order all of the equipment necessary and burn-in, configure and stage your access points. Because of our strategic partnerships, we receive the best pricing and delivery possible.

After your wireless system is in place, we complete the job by certifying your network. We verify the power levels, the channel plan, and other technical aspects to make sure everything matches the original design. Your certification document contains valuable information such as your IP addresses, MAC IDs and a logical drawing. We document all of this so you don’t have to, for use now and into the future.
